Kat Reeder gathers influence from many places and you can see it throughout her artwork. While the setting is Hawaii, with its iconic and unique island imagery, Kat undoubtedly draws influence from vintage Hawaiian styles, Latin-american artistry, and 70's Japanese and American cartoons. Although largely self-taught her mastery of color and texture are directly influenced by her love of the Hawaiian islands. A perfect piece to add indoors, it is a gentle reminder and appreciation of the spirit of aloha and the beauty of the islands that embody it.
